Annual Art Auction Call To Artists

The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art announces an open call for artist submissions for our annual art auction that has moved to Fall 2018. The auction is a premiere social event in north central Montana connecting art collectors with the region’s finest artists, set against the backdrop of lively music, good food and drink. The 21st Annual Art Auction will take place in beautiful Great Falls, Fall 2018. Proceeds from the event support the museum’s exhibitions and related educational programs.

Submission application is due Friday, June 1, 2018, by 5pm and can be downloaded by clicking here.

Creative Arts Summer Programming 2018

Explore many art forms such as: painting, crafts, print-making, and 3-d art during the All Things Messy Camp the Square! At Pottery Camp explore the art of ceramics by getting first hand experience with techniques such as hand-building sculptural objects by learning multiple building styles. Theatre camp at the Square will be an amazing experience for children that love drama, have great expression and show signs of theatre interest. Sculptural Ceramics class entails combining wheel thrown and hand-built elements to create sculptural vessels. Wheel-throwing Ceramics Class is a 4-week course is designed to develop and refine technique. Youth Drawing will explore a variety of drawing materials, including graphite, charcoal, conté crayon and pastels. Sculpture Hand-building Ceramics Class is a 4 week course where students will propose a sculpture idea, and the instructor will work one on one with the student to achieve their goal.
