April 2, 2026 Update:
Our Teen Art Program is on a temporary hiatus until we find an instructor to lead the program. If you are interested in submitting an application, please contact Liz Slot, Education Director at liz@the-square.org or by visiting https://www.the-square.org/teenartprogramcall to learn more. This is a fulfilling, part-time position that leads a program that cultivates creativity, confidence, leadership, and career pathways through hands-on art instruction, mentorship, collaborative artmaking, and community engagement.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
The weekly gathering is free of charge to the participants. Just show up, plan to eat together (food provided by The Square) and make some art (art supplies included). It is a time to spend with like-minded people, have support, and be creative together in a group setting. It is always fun, and we come up with activities that we can do within the community artistically throughout the year on top of working on individual art projects.
