About
Graham Kerwin joined the Paris Gibson Square team as the Ceramics Technician in 2024. Having left a career in agriculture and sales, he has several years of ceramics under his belt and is seeking to take the deep dive into all things clay. As a Ceramic Technician he supports the museum's Education Department by maintaining the ceramics studio area and works directly with the Director of Education. Graham plays a critical role in the overall operations of the ceramic studio and takes pride in creating an organized and fluid working studio. Graham manages the operations of the ceramic studio, including budget, materials stock, equipment upkeep, chemicals, cleanliness, kiln firings, etc. Graham also acts as a Teaching Artist, leading ceramic classes as needed or assisting in other classes. As part of Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, the Ceramics Studio Technician also regularly works with museum staff, studio members, students, schoolteachers, and Teaching Artists. Graham helps to inspire and expand the museum's ceramics studio community and increase interest in the medium. Eager to work and hungry to learn, he hopes to be a continual asset to the team for many years to come.
