Event Rental Details

Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art has the following spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the year. Events deemed inappropriate by the Executive Director or Board of Directors are not permitted at The Square.

Our facilities are small and intimate and will accommodate smaller gatherings. In most cases, if your event requires space for more than 50 people, The Square may not be the best venue for your event.

The Square reserves the right to review and accept/deny all proposed events and an event planning meeting with the Operations Manager (or designee) is required before rentals will be approved.

You are asked to use an outside professional caterer for events with a full meal service. In the case of small parties or receptions, The Square will consider allowing the event to be self-catered, but will make that determination at the time of event planning. All menu and event plans must be reviewed and approved by the Operations Manager (or designee) at the time of rental. We do not allow certain types of cooking or food preparation, such as frying, at any time and reserve the right to request menu alterations, if needed, in order to ensure the safety of the collections. All food and beverage, including snacks, must remain in the room and cannot be taken into the gallery spaces. The hallway outside the room is a gallery space. The two rooms to either side of the café are gallery spaces as well and the doors to them will be open to allow entry/exit from the Café for your event, but at no time should food or beverage be taken into the space.
