Come share in a somatic movement experience with Soul Motion embodied leader, Julia Becker, for a 1.25 hour slow movement exploration that joins yoga with dance. We will move to open space in our bodies, through relaxation and movement inquiry.

What to Wear: Please be comfortable and remove shoes. Dance shoes/socks or other non-street shoes are acceptable.
Julia Becker is a contemporary artist, creative writer, and educator who explores multiple modalities including visual art and movement inquiry, including yoga and forms of ecstatic dance. She cherishes her many teachers and teachings in yoga, somatic movement, dance, creativity, artmaking, healing and more, and works to serve others with creative and healing practices including artmaking, creative writing, somatic movement/dance, yoga/meditation, and through growing and sharing food. Julia earned her Master of Fine Arts, Yoga teacher training certificate, and Soul Motion Teacher credentials, along with other pursuits. She teaches art at the University of Providence and somatic movement at Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, designs online learning curriculum for various venues, works as a consultant with academic institutes (designs Creative Curriculum), and creates art every day.
